"Communication Is An Art"
Thank you Mom for the inspiration.
For the past three to four days I've been sequestered at the Newhouse labs working on various projects for my Graphics class. Our latest assignment was to create a logo for ourselves that we could paste on stationary, envelopes and business cards. I went a little wild and had a lovely time, though many of those hours were exceedingly early (730 am) to exceedingly late (1200 pm) for a normal college kid to be doing work. Mind you many college kids stay up till at least four, but they're stupid and not working at all.
anyway
I figured you'd like a taste of my work. So here is my project, and I'll make sure to include future projects as well.

Wow, the fluer de li is so elegant and opposite of my gypsy girl Hannah. Are you turning a new leaf? Just kidding!! Post your poster as well, it is good advertising. I am glad your classes are giving you a creative outlet.
Ok, you two. Now the spelling lesson.
First, Hannie, it's stationery (meaning, writing paper), not stationary (meaning, standing still, at rest - which you never are).
Second, love of my life (aka, Kim), it's fleur de lis (an iris, or the coat of arms of the French royal family).
Now that we have that out of the way, the designs are lovely - graceful yet bold - but how do they capture your essence. Have you decided exactly what statement you wish to make with them?
Looking forward to more installments.
I don't have spell check, and I don't speak French, but I get my ideas across.
